St. Johns County
Sawgrass Porta Potty Rental
Booking units for a site in Sawgrass is quick if you know four things: the headcount, how long it stands, whether the public can reach it, and what the truck has to drive over.
Sawgrass is not a town or a CDP at all — it is the large private gated residential community inside Ponte Vedra Beach built around the golf courses, with the Players Club west of A1A and the Country Club running east from A1A to the ocean.
Which office you are dealing with
Unincorporated St. Johns County for permits, but the interior streets are private and controlled by the community associations — the guard gates, not the county, decide whether a truck gets in. Sawgrass is used loosely for at least four different things — the Players Club, the Country Club, TPC Sawgrass the golf facility, and Sawgrass Village the shopping center — so which one the customer means has to be settled before anyone is dispatched.
Where deliveries go wrong here
Every delivery goes through a manned guard gate with a vendor pass and an approved contractor on file, and the associations dictate placement and screening — units generally cannot be visible from a golf hole or a neighboring lot. Tournament week adds road closures and restricted delivery windows on A1A and TPC Boulevard, so anything not staged before the closures simply cannot get in.
The jobs on this side
THE PLAYERS Championship and its build-out and tear-down, resort conferences and weddings at the Marriott, golf course maintenance and renovation, and high-end home remodels inside the gates.

Booking units for Sawgrass
Delivery, the scheduled servicing and the collection are all in the one quoted number. There is no separate pickup charge waiting at the end.
One phone call sets the count, the placement and the price. Delivery follows on the agreed day, and the servicing goes straight onto a route so nobody has to chase it.
Servicing is weekly as standard - pump-out, deodoriser, paper, and a wipe of the touch surfaces. Heavy use or a hot stretch moves it to twice weekly, which is worth the money.
We set the units where you want them if the truck can get there, and somewhere sensible nearby if it cannot. Either way you find out before the day rather than on it.
What is actually there
A planned golf community from the 1970s onward — roughly 2,400 acres across the two clubs, more than sixteen subdivisions of patio homes, villas, condominiums and large custom homes on golf frontage and lagoons, plus oceanfront property on the Country Club side.

Sawgrass - the questions we get
Unincorporated St. Getting that wrong is the single most common way a placement loses a day around here.
The roads people actually use are SR A1A, TPC Boulevard, Sawgrass Village Drive and the Solana Road gate entrance. If the site is hard to describe, name the nearest of the TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course and its island 17th green, the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa, Sawgrass Village, the Sawgrass Beach Club with about 1,600 feet of private oceanfront, and Sawgrass Country Club - that gets a driver closer than a pin does.
For a working crew, one per ten workers on a standard week. For an event, roughly one per hundred guests over four hours, tighter for a festival crowd, with an uplift if there is a bar. Hand-wash stations run one per three units and accessible units are additive at one per eight.
If the public can reach your site, plan on at least one. It needs a firm level pad and an approach that stays unobstructed, and it should sit on its own or at the end of a run rather than boxed into the middle of a bank.
Nothing punitive. Weekend rentals are routine and so are placements that run month after month. There is also no penalty if a job runs longer than planned.
