Oceanfront properties sit behind long gated private drives that end in soft dune sand, which usually puts the drop point well back from where the customer wants it.

The roads people actually use are SR A1A and Ponte Vedra Boulevard, JT Butler Boulevard, Solana Road, Mickler Road and CR 210. If the site is hard to describe, name the nearest of the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, TPC Sawgrass and the Stadium Course — permanent home of THE PLAYERS Championship since 1982 — the Sawgrass Marriott, PGA TOUR headquarters, Mickler's Landing beach access, and the Guana Tolomato Matanzas Reserve to the south - that gets a driver closer than a pin does.
If the public can reach your site, plan on at least one. It needs a firm level pad and an approach that stays unobstructed, and it should sit on its own or at the end of a run rather than boxed into the middle of a bank.
A standard wants firm level ground and about a metre of clearance on the door side. An accessible unit wants noticeably more, plus a clear route to the door. A trailer needs room to be towed in, positioned and towed out again.
