Parties & backyard events
One or two units for a party in the yard
A graduation, a reunion, a christening, a block party on a Springfield street. Small jobs, but the details still decide whether it goes well - where the unit sits, whether the guests have to walk past it to get to the food, and whether anybody has to go inside your house.
Keeping people out of the house
That is usually the whole point. One deluxe near the party, out of the sightline from the tables, will do it for most backyard events - and it saves the bathroom, the carpet and the line on the stairs.
Where to put it
Not by the food, not in the photos, and not where the truck cannot reach it. A driveway apron or a firm patch of side yard works. Delivery and collection both need the same route in.
The count for a small event
One unit covers most backyard gatherings up to about fifty people over an afternoon. Past that, or with a bar running, add a second and put a hand-wash station beside them.
Before you call
Parties & Backyard Events - the usual questions
Yes, and often that is the best spot - firm, level, and the truck can reach it without crossing the lawn. If the driveway is the only way in and out of the party, we will site it at the edge.
The unit sits on a skid base and spreads its own weight. The risk is the truck, not the unit, which is why placement is usually just off the hard surface rather than in the middle of the lawn.
The day before is the comfortable answer. It gives room for a delivery window rather than a delivery moment, and nothing about the unit needs setting up on the day.
Plenty of the newer communities - Oakleaf, Nocatee, Fleming Island - have rules about what can sit visible from the street and for how long. Check before you book; it usually just changes where the unit goes.
For a small backyard event with a deluxe unit, usually not. As soon as food is being served to any real number of people, put one in - it is the cheapest part of the booking.
Deliveries run Monday to Saturday, so a Saturday drop for a Saturday party is tight but a Friday drop is easy. Book the Friday.
